You have European cookbook eh? Weight doesn't directly translate to volume. For example 29 grams of sugar would take up a lot less space than 29 grams of flour (i think). You might need to invest in a scale.

Well 28 grams is one ounce so 29 would be a bit more.

29 grams of water occupies 29 milliliters or about 2 tablespoons or 6 teaspoons.

29 grams of sugar occupies about 34 milliliters or about 2.4 tablespoons or 7.2 teaspoons
