1. In non vegetarian - tandoori chicken ( clay oven cooked chicken ) , butter chicken

2. vegetarian - Maa ki dal ( kali dal ) or black lentil , kadhi ( gram flour dumplings in hot yogurt sauce ) , Rajma ( red beans )

naan & roti ( semi / unleavened bread cooked in a clay oven )
and boiled rice

I saw the 'curry ' answers. Bull crap. There is NOTHING called a simple curry in Indian cuisine. We have too many types of cuisines. Cant just generalise like that.

tandori chicken or anything tandoori for that matter,usually served with a bread called tandoori roti or nan also a type of bread,accompanied with a side plate of sliced onions,green chillie & lemon wedges.The tandoor is a clay oven & the food is threaded trough a skewer & cooked on live coals
