Well if you dont have a heart rate then you would be dead. Too slow or too fast of a heart rate could mean that something is wrong. Your heart rate will raise with anxiety or excercise thats normal. i hope this helped you. Good luckand tc

in short....the whole body works as a system. a part of this system is where the respiratory and circulatory help to supply the body with O2 and remove waste. Your heart rate is the frequency of of which all this occurs, measured by the audible/pulse of the valves and fluid moving threw the heart. Take some anatomy classes their realy helpful.

your heart rate determines how hard your heart is working to effectively pump blood throughout the body so it receives sufficient nutrients and oxygen, as well as removing wastes fast enough. your heart rate increases during exercise, for example, to deliver more oxygen to the cells as it is being used up at a very fast rate. if your heart rate is too low, it could be trouble.

heart rate is important to keep you alive, Its bad if you have it too fast and its bad if you have it slow so keep fit
