In response to one of your replys to this question that cannabis makes females male and males feminine myth. Cannabis through out history has allways been seen as a plant with feminine traits, not just because its only the female that contains the pychoactive ingredient THC but because its effects are passive. A relaxed state with lots of giggles are its first effects. I smoked cannabis everyday for only about 3 years when i was 17-20 and i would say it does have some negative effects depending on the nature of the smoker. It can make someone oversensitive and paranoid, but only in relation to the insecurity's that already exist with that person. Lack of motivation is another one. But there are still allot of positive effects achieved on the personality of cannabis smokers depending on the persons original outlook and how they perceive the world. Damaging effects on the body are no different to the effects of any smoking especially the lungs, especially as most cannabis users smoke it with tabacco. Like the person that drinks alcohol, some become alcholics and lose there life to it,others dont. Ive now forgotten what im writing about, could be the memory loss caused from to much cannabis. I

If you are an otherwise healthy person, one cigarette a day probably wouldn't have any bad effects. But you are fooling yourself if you think you can maintain that pace. The lure of the second, then third, then fourth, etc., cigarette becomes very seductive over time. Eventually, you WILL give in just as virtually everyone else in the world has done thinking that they could "handle" it. Don't fool yourself, my friend.

Having a cigarette anytime, no matter how many you smoke is bad for you. Go to the American Lung/heart Association web site, and you will learn alot about the harmeful effects of smoking.

If a person has the will power to limit themselves to just one cigarette a day then why smoke at all? Smoking is dangerous and harmful even with just one per day.

One leads to two to three to a whole pack a day. One probably has no effect, but you are gambling with a physically addictive substance that will eventually win.
