airborne is the prevention one. Zicam and Coldeze are the ones that make the colds shorter in duration and severity. The catch is that both of these MUST be taken immidiately when you feel a cold is begining to come on. If you miss that day, don't bother taking it. It would just be a waste of money. The first 12 hours are critical for both medications.

the rumor is that medicine with zinc in it will shorten the duration of a cold...the catch is you have to start taking it within 12-24 hours of your first symptoms. Check the cold med aisle in the pharmacy, I think there are now several meds with zinc

Ester-C and Airborne are the two I hear most on the radio. Airborne is the one that was developed by a school teacher.

if your referring to "airborne" that stuff doesn't work any better than just taking a multvitamin daily, which you should do anyways. (the created by a teacher to prevent you from getting a cold stuff), Zinc however does wonders, and cold eeze has the proper amounts of zinc in it, however you could just take zinc tablets.
