Can't give you exact numbers, but Ii can tell you that there are around 350 people registered for the Houston Texas areas mailing list. And I would venture to say that for every one that is known there is at least one that is not.

Marfan Syndrome isn't a cardiac disease. It is a syndrome that affects the connective tissue of the body.
Look it up on the web and you will see the odds and pictures of people with it. It can cause mental retardation in extreme cases.

i believe only about a hand full approx 1500 it's pretty rare probably about 10% of those live in the U.S
