A good brit can put anything bewtween 2 slices of bread and Baked beans on toast is awesome. If you can find it, (walmart has it sometimes) get English toasting bread. Toast it and slather butter on it and then put baked beans in a bowl and nuke em til they are hot and dip and scoop your toast in them..

It is Navy beans cooked with a thin slightly sweet tomato sauce on it. It is lovely but definitely doesn't use cream! Some people butter the toast or put butter on top but it's fine without because of the sauce. I've never heard of a recipe, people over here overwhelmingly buy them canned and ready made, I'm not even sure you could make it exactly at home.
Heinz baked beanz are the most popular brand and you can see them here

Pretty basic, really. You take toast and add baked beans, complete with the "sauce" that comes from the can. You can add salt or pepper to taste.
Here's a recipe, via google:
Ingredients:
1 can of baked beans,
toast,
olive oil,
one red pepper,
one white onion,
fresh garlic
some diced tomatoes

The British expended all their effort building the Empire.
That's why they still eat foods where the entire recipe is included in the name! "Beans on toast" is warmed over canned beans poured onto pieces of toast, plain & simple. Folks there also have been known to pour warmed over canned spaghetti in tomato sauce onto toast.

Just make sure you use a knife and fork otherwise it gets real messy.
