My favorite restaruant in Houston is HB steak house. They serve this salad before the meal that automatically comes with this orange colored dressing. It is awesome. Its kind of a tangy taste. Anybody know what this is called and where I can get it?
Thx!

I know how to make that one! It's lovely. Here is the recipe: Whisk ¼ cup of soy sauce with the juice of a lemon, 3 minced garlic cloves, 3 tablespoons of minced fresh ginger root, 1 teaspoon of prepared Dijon mustard, a little black pepper, and 2 teaspoons of honey. Add a cup of olive oil in a steady stream, whisking all the time. Pour the dressing into a glass jar and chill until serving. This will dress 12 salads so halve the recipe if you don't need so much.

Kinda thick? If so, it is probably ginger dressing. Ask the restaurant, they will probably sell some to you. We buy this sauce we love from a Japanese steakhouse we go to all the time.
