I have taken polycosonol for six weeks, according to information that I received with it, it should have gone down. Blood test revealed that my levels of cholesterol is 240 and my tryglicerides are over 300 something. My doctor put me on Zetia, which I will start tomorrow, can I still take polycosonol while I take Zetia? Is it safe?

Ask your pharmicist or ask on line at a drug company or pharmacy.

Talk to your pharmacist about it.

Zetia may block absorption. It's not a big deal but you'd be wasting your money on the polycosonol.

P.S. Zetia works.

Zetia drug label referenced.
