Probably not, but the day will come when you smoke 2, then 3 and then more. Soon you will be addicted, spending $7 on a pack of cigarettes (depending on where you live). That money can be better spent on movies, going out with friends, saving for a car, etc.
What's the purpose of smoking only 1 cigarette? It doesn't help you in anyway (sorry, you DO NOT look cool smoking cigarettes). It also stains your teeth. If you're looking to attract someone, a nice smile is a good way to do it. Don't ruin your teeth, or more importantly your lungs, for a lousy butt.
Good luck and stop now while you can!!!

It will hurt you eventually and the longer you smoke the stronger your addiction gets then you will have to smoke two cigarettes a day and so on till you are up to a whole pack a day. Quit now before you cause any more damage. How can it be good for you so obviously its bad for you.

Nicotine will eventually cause you a great deal of grief.
Your lungs will fill with a thin film of tar which will find air vents in your lungs and form little bits of tar that block your bloods refreshing vents.
Eventually causing you to have difficulty breathing.
Later more chunks of tar will have accumulated and you will need an oxygen tank.
Which will keep you out of places where people use matches, lighters, and rub sticks together to start fires so they can light their cigarettes, cigars.
With your oxygen tank you wont be able to sit near camp fires for warmth out in the woods.

Here's how it was explained to me, when smoking its like Russian roulette as far as getting cancer, you could smoke one time and that would be enough to cause a mutation, people who are addicted are at a higher risk because they have more chances for the mutation to accrue but smoking once a day give you one chance a day to cause mutation.

I would think smoking at all would. If you can go with just smoking once a day, then why smoke at all? Why take the risk. Plus, it's just plain nasty.
