They do not have heads, and really oysters in a can are SO GROSS...they are not at all like fresh or fresh shucked and do not taste the same. We eat ALOT of oysters around here, and found the canned are so nasty tasting compared to the above. If you can get fresh or fresh shucked.

If their in a can, there shouldn't be any preparation needed. Also, oysters don't have heads.

I prefer oyster breasts or at least toes or fingers, preharps a thigh or two.
