you must be joking, i find it funny how people are dead serious with their answers. as a vegetarian i always laugh about eating goldfish and animal crackers. eating those are okay as long as there is no meat in them (if you are just vegetarian) i understand what you mean though, it's one of the things i ponder for a long time on my slow days.

I'm a vegetarian and I could eat animal crackers as long as they don't contain any animal products. Premium crackers contain
lard. So I don't eat those crackers whatever shape they are in. I don't eat animal crackers
cause the way I see that to do so is symbolizing eat meat to be ok. Meat is Death
or regurgitated Protein if U wanna call it protein.
I don't eat any living creature that has to be killed and cooked to be eaten. I also wouldn't kill an animal so I don't have the right to eat one!
Also to me meat never tasted all that good to me in the first place but back In the late 70s or early 80's I became vegetarian mainly because of cost of meat then. I've been more health not eating meat then when I did eat meat. I was in the hospital a lot more when I was a meat eater
than while I'm a vegetarian. Vegetarianism isn't
for everyone but it's right for me! I do think it's probably right for most people but most don't recognize that but as I said it's not for Everyone!

good question!!
vegetarians can eat animal crakers but vegans or strict vegetarians can not eat animal crackers!!

Vegetarianism is the practice of not consuming meat, with or without the use of other animal derivatives, such as dairy products or eggs. Some vegetarians choose to also refrain from wearing clothing involving the death of animals, such as leather, silk and fur. Veganism, sometimes called "strict vegetarianism", excludes all animal products from diet and attire, whether or not this involves the actual death of an animal (dairy, eggs, honey, wool and down feathers). Vegetarians are found in countries across the world with varied motivations including religious, financial, ethical, environmental, and health concerns.

however. vegans can't eat animal crackers b/c they contain dairy, which vegans don't eat.

Yes, and it maybe a good bridge for beginners. Go from eating the animal to something that's animal shaped to vegetarian.

Though myself, I am an omnivore. Just throwing out an opinion.

look at the ingrediants in the animal crackers...if you see any animal products in it, then no...but last i checked there arent any.

i mean i guess its up to the vegitarian whether or not they want to eat something in the shape of an animal...
