Nothing wrong with it - except you may miss some, and they can be internal as well as external. For those you need a doctor.

A friend of mine tried to treat geniital warts with OTC meds and ended up having to have an operation on his penis, which is now scarred forever. Does that answer your question?

Being a woman, I would be afraid to use andy OTC product in that area. No, that is not the same thing he uses and also he knows what to do for the warts.

honestly, I think you are fine. warts don't just randomly appear. also, worst case-scenario they are warts: warts aren't that big of a deal. there's new medications out there that will get rid of them and keep them away. also, just because you get warts doesn't necessarily mean you have hpv. a friend of mine had them once, she doesn't have hpv, and they haven't come back in 2 years. i'd say don't freak out until you talk to your doctor.

NO!

The genital area is much more sensitive than the rest of your body (which you probably already knew) and is easily damaged. Your doctor will know how to treat these properly.

noooo. its not safe to expose your body to any chemicals (especially in a sensitive area like the genitals) without the doctor approving it. Definately do not attempt doing that by yourself. It is best and safest to go to a doctor and discuss your options there! good luck and stay safe

you need to go to the doctor so he can put you on some medicine to help treat your genital worts they are not the same as worts that you get on your body and you wouldn't want the otc product getting inside of your urethra i would say no call your doctor and ask first before you do it

Don't use an over the counter med... Get a prescription for Aldara from your doctor. You can use that on the external ones that you can see.
