Its been two - three years since I had those red bumps around my vagina. I didnt have sexual intercourse he just played with me alittle. The doctor told me it might not be anything serious and that it might be just a yeast infection. It never came back either and when those red bumps appeared I was on my period. They showed up after a couple of days after he played with me. Should I be worrying or what? Could it be something that the symptoms JUST doesnt show on me?

The Doctor said it might be a yeast infection because I felt itching. Now I have itching and cottage cheese discharge.

I wouldn't worry if your doctor didn't. However, if you really are stressing about it, you should get blood tests.

Sounds like a yeast infection. His fingers might not have been clean, if you are going to be played with, watch him wash his hands before. A yeast infection is the body's way of saying something foreign has entered and it is protecting itself. Limit what you put in and around that area.

Please see the web pages for more details on STDs including Genital Herpes and Genital warts.
Visit your nearest Genito-urinary medicine (GUM) clinic and take treatment. The service is free and your identity will be kept as confidential.
Genital herpes cannot be cured. Once infected, the virus stays in the body for the rest of the individual's life. Research suggests that the virus can be transmitted even when there are no symptoms present, so that a sexual partner without obvious genital herpes sores may still transmit the illness. In fact, asymptomatic spread may actually contribute more to the spread of genital herpes than do active sores. Genital herpes will have painful blisters. Genital warts may lead to cervical cancer.
Ask your partner whether he is suffering from any STD. He should also be treated for STD.
