Usually, you can expect to experience your primary outbreak within a few weeks of exposure.

Sure, the literature will tell you that the primary outbreak can occur as late as twenty or thirty years after exposure, but in practice this is pretty darn rare (for example, it may be the case where you develop an immune system disorder and suddenly your body - which had been asymptomatic for years - can no longer prevent the virus from expressing itself).

To be frank, I think the literature over-emphasises the cases where the outbreak occurs years after exposure. Why? I don't know. But it is a nice way to prevent people from getting overly upset with their partner. After all, it is in the interests of society for people to be as happy and productive as possible (sick and unproductive people cost money). And if you tell them that, yes, they most likely got the condition from their current partner, then you are going to create anger and recrimination in the most important relationship they have. Not a good recipe for keeping them happy and productive.

A conspiracy theory? Maybe.

Good luck.

An outbreak can occur at anytime after exposure. For many men there are very few symptoms. Most people experience a flulike episode consisting of fever and body soreness 10-14 days after contracting the disease, at that time they likely will have an outbreak that is typically very severe. For most people who have herpes the first outbreak is the most painful.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about four years back, when I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. I understand lots of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/YtPHL everything changed.

Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the herpes virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method provided me the chance to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.

It could vary because the time frame for an outbreak could be weeks to months. Some people may go a long time before they have any signs. To be sure go get checked.
