There is more than one correct answer there. they are found in both papillary and non-papillary regions. They both respond to light pressure, vibration, or any mechanical stimulus and they also accomodate (adapt) to constant pressure. They are found in the deep (hypodermis) layers of skin, around joints, blood vessels, etc. Your answer is thus E) all of the above.

The Pacinian Corpuscles is located in the mesenteries, esp in the pancreas, and are often found near joints. They detect gross pressure changes and vibrations. They cause action potential when the skin is rapidly indented but not when pressure is steady.
