Could be problems with your heart - that causes tight chest, just like lung illnesses. Get checked out!!

Sounds like an allergy to something, but it could be mild asthma. I suggest you go to your clinic for a test, they will soon be able to help you. Don't wait too long, as this sort of symptom could be a variety of other things, and when it comes to tight chest, rather be safe than sorry.

You need to see your doctor, not only to get your lungs checked, but also your heart gall-bladder and liver function. You don't say how old you are or what your general health is like (weight, medical history, diet, exercise, meds, etc)... or how long it's going on.

Do go along and get checked - it may be nothing, or it may be something that requires simple but urgent treatment.

It's impossible to say what's causing your problem, but you need to find out if it's going to deteriorate if you maintain contact with paint fumes, car filter dust and of course cigarettes.

Go to your GP. Good luck!

I think you have answered this one yourself - I'd suggest packing in the fags and taking fresh air breaks between spraying paint.
I'd also suggest seeing your GP if these symptoms last.

don't u wear a face mask when u are spraying cars ? health & safety would have a field day if u don't ! it could be a range of things - from asthma, to a panic attack. best not to second guess these things. get yourself to a doctor.
