A sexually transmitted disease is just that. It is a disease passed on from partner to partner during sexual activities whether oral, anal or through penetration. Use of protection (condoms) or abstinence is the only way to prevent spreading STD's. Some people have STD's and have not one symptom but still spread it to others. Keep in mind some diseases are incurable!!
