The right ventricle pumps poorly oxygenated blood to the lungs which is where it picks up oxygen, and the left pumps the oxygenated blood around the body (once it has been back to the heart), the capillaries is where exchange of materials occur

I know this one!
Okay.

Just remember that veins go to the heart, Arteries are Away (both start with As)

Here is the path of blood.

Blood comes into your heart from the body at the superiour and inferiour vena cava.

Then goes into right atrium, then right ventricle then is pushed out the pulmonary artery to the lungs to be oxygenated.

Then comes back in the pulmonary vein into the left atrium then left ventricle and out the aorta...the aorta branches off in three directions to distribute blood to your body.

Remember it goes into the Atriums first, think of the atrium at a bank, it is the small entrance. Also the Tricupsid Valve seperates the right atrium and ventricle, and the bicuspid seperates the left atrium and left ventricle. I just took an exam over this stuff. Good luck!

Blood goes from the Right Atrium through the tricuspid valve to the Right Ventricle. This goes through the pulmonary trunk and to the lungs via the pulmonary arteries. Blood releases carbon dioxide and picks up oxygen. Then, it goes through the pulmonary veins back to the heart, into the left atrium. It goes through the bicuspid valve to the left ventricle. Then it goes through the aorta to the body. Finally, unoxygenated blood comes back into the right atrium via the vena cava, and starts over.

I hope this helps! Good luck!
