I like the real ones, and I cannot stand the fake canned ones. I am non-Latino (American of German, Russian, Serbian and Greek descent). They are not my favorite food- I'd take an enchilada over tamales any day, but I don't mind eating them.

I wonder if Latinos like cheeseburgers?
I love tamales and every other kind of ethnic dishes. I just love food! My best friends grandmother makes the best tamales ever!

Yeah, I have some friends who are latino, and their mom makes the best tamales in the whole world. Yum, I'm hungry just thinking about it! Tamales are great, so much better than any Taco Bell crap you might find.

You should go to Texas sometime and see all the gringos lovin them tamales. Sure, its mostly Tex-mex but DAMN I've had some good tamales.

The real ones -- oh yeah, good stuff. The fake junk in cans or jars. . .no way.
But man, they are a lot of work to make. We have a good supermercado locally that sell them, and that saves a lot of hassle!
