If I know I am clean, but want to KNOW I am clean, how much might a comprehensive STD test run? And yes, I know that for something as important as this, money should be the least of my worries.

The county health department is a good way to go. The tests are free and it is very confidential and they will help you with any questions you have. The information does not go on your regular medical chart. Also I read somewhere that certain tests listed on your medical record can influence your insurance and so privacy is very important.

what country are you from??? most countries (1st world that is), it is free, or subsidised. However, a test this important - do it. its worth it for your peace of mind, believe me, peace of mind is a very very valuable thing to have. You will feel at ease, and able to get on with your life.
Practice safe sex in future so you dont have to worry again..

I believe that you can get tested for all STDs free of charge at your local health department.
