I would have him go to the dr. My sister was a big snorer for years and every day she woke up with headaches. After years of different opinions, she was evaluated at sleep center. Turns out she has sleep apnea. Very dangerous. Get him checked out first. Just to make sure its not serious.

He may need to be evaluated at a sleep clinic. Perhaps his airway is closing while he's sleeping, causing him to stop breathing for longer than normal. That is called sleep apnea. It can also cause very loud snoring.
He should go see his doctor and tell him that the loud snoring is disrupting your sleep. His doctor can make recommendations, and most likely a sleep study will be one of them.
My husband has that problem; he now uses a CPAP mask at night, and his snoring has stopped, thank goodness!!

Different ways.
1)The snore strips in the store work well. Hold your nostrils open for air flow.
2) move him on his side or stomach
3) Get him to sleep on an incline.
Each has limited success

Snoring is the result of blocked nasal passage.
Certain change in the way he lies down when he sleeps helps. And there are minor operations which can be done within one day and very economic, in which the blockade in nassal passage is removed. Talk to him about it and tell him that you want to do something about his roar. Anyway you should talk to a doc for better ideas.

unfortunately, that mofo does snore. and boy is he a loud one. you see...it starts off as a slight whistle through his nose. that lasts for about and hour. then the bastard opens his mouth and throws his head back. stupid son of a ***** i call this "puttin' it in second gear". it sounds like he has oatmeal or something clogged in there. it's the worst sound ever. it sounds like 10 bears. then he gets to a point where i think he's going to die (and i hope he does). it's like he gets stuck. literally. it's very mechanical, the sound, like gears that need to be oiled very badly and they lock up. i call this stage the "death rattle". annoying @$$ mvthafvcka out of pity, after about 3 mins of asphyxia, i kick him in the groin or elbow him in the throat to wake him up a bit. he moans a little, but it doesnt make any difference. this just jump starts the whole process all over again. if he gets too loud and doesn't start to descend into the death rattle phase, i either make him turn over or place a pillow on his face...and press firmly. this video has given me new ideas...yes. thank you very much for the advice. i want a divorce, HRH PrincessFreestarr!!

if it is really bad he could have his adenoids removed along with his tonsils. He could sleep on his side. You could run a mister for moister air and you could try nose strips. Snoring can be a disturbance for both of you and your Dr. will take this serious
