It is very difficult to count in a country with a population of 1.2 Billion. Best way to control aids is legalise prostitution and make medical periodical check of sex workers a must condition to issue or renew licence. Sounds stupid but that is the only you control spreading of AIDS. Lot of European countries are following this practise and are very successful. It is only we stupid Indians think every thing from either religious angle or political angle. And our politicians especially opposition parties( I mean BJP camp now and they come to power then Congress camp) make every thing a political issue. If a referendum is conducted I am sure 99% of the people will support my idea.
