I have MVP mitral valve prolapse... it seems when I get a cold/virus, my heart seems to act up and I get some dull pain (from the MVP). Could the virus have anything to do with this?

Yes. It can cause inflammation around the heart called myocarditis. Please see your doctor right away.

i believe a coronary heart will become heavy whilst it cares deeply approximately somebody or something it can't help or substitute. I actually have a heavy coronary heart yet I even have good acquaintances and relatives as a help gadget...and that makes residing with a heavy coronary heart ok.

your body is fighting the infection so it is working harder that is the discomfort. However virus can attack the heart. I had a friend die from a tooth infection that entered the blood stream and attacked his heart

I know that bacteria can injure/damage the heart so I presume
that some viruses can also...
