Yep. Just like pregnancy. My mom told me when I was a teenager that it only takes once!
Best Wishes,

I am sorry to say Yes it can. If there was any bodily fluid contact, or exchange yes. Don't panic, just go get tested. They have free clinics that you can go to. Or go to one of your local aids areas, like ARCW, they can tell you when there will be free testing.
Was this person infected with HIV? That is something you need to know for sure. I you knew the person was, then you were taking the chance. I know many people with HIV, and have lived for 17 to 20 years, and are still living, the life expectancy is so much higher, then when it was first discovered, 7 to 14 years.
So instead of panic, find out the information you need to know and get yourself tested. They most likely will have you come back in another 6 months or so, but they will give you the information you will need. Now that means no unprotected sex, until you know for sure, and your safest bet is protection all of the time.
Sorry it is not the answer you wanted to hear, make yourself aware, go on the internet and look the topic up, or go to A local HIV/Aids area like the ARCW. And ask for information. They will be more than happy to give it to you. As well as help you out.
Good Luck to you, hope everything turns out ok

Rather than quoting you something that has been copied and pasted from some medical site and scaring you unnecessarily, I'll give you the COMMON SENSE answer. The overwhelming chances are that you are just fine. First off, you minimized your exposure by wearing a condom, though it did break. Secondly, you don't know if the call girl even has HIV (stats still say she probably doesn't), and third, even if she did, it often takes multiple unprotected encounters to contract the disease...and since your exposure was less than one minute, realistically, assuming she even had HIV, your risk would have been less than 1%. To be safe, though, and for your own peace of mind you should be tested...there are several agencies that offer free anonymous testing. Hope this info helped.

STDs are usually transmitted when the direct contact involved in sex allows the bodily fluids of a diseased person to come in contact with the skin and other tissues of a healthy person. In the particular case of the HIV virus, the contact of a fluid with the skin is not enough for the virus to be transmitted, as long as the skin is intact. However, the friction caused by sex creates minuscule wounds in the skin, through which the HIV virus can infiltrate into the body. Most of these wounds are generated in the skin of the penis and the vagina (in the case of vaginal sex), which are constantly rubbing against each other. When a condom breaks, the secretions of the vagina mixed with the fluid that exits through the penis come into contact with the skin of the participant's genitalia. In this situation, a reasonable action is to stop the coitus as soon as the condom failure is detected. Washing the genitals with water and soap reduces the probability of contagion when done soon enough, even if it breaks the romantic mood. There are claims that the spermicide nonoxinol-9 kills or stops the growth of the HIV virus, and herpes simplex I and II viruses, although its efficacy in preventing the acquisition of AIDS is a contentious issue. You might want to consider using a product containing nonoxinol-9 in order to reduce the risk of STD contagion. One thing to emphasize is that regardless of what you do after the condom breaks during a sexual encounter, the risk of contracting a STD cannot be reduced to a negligible level (unless you're certain that your partner is STD free.) Know the symptoms of the common STDs, and consider taking one STD examination in the near future.

Even one unprotected encounter has a high probability of HIV if the patient is positive and the virus has invaded wounds or ulcers in your mouth or organ. If you are so worried let yourself be tested together with the girl. If she refuses then have the screening test yourself. Window period is usually 11-21 days. So if you are infected, it will be positive in the screening test after 11-21 days. If it is positive in the screening test , then you should proceed with the confirmatory test.

Possible, but quite unlikely. Your're dealing with a very fragile virus and your exposure time was very limited.
To set your mind at ease get tested. The incubation period for HIV is usualy between 2 weeks and 6 months.
I engage in MUCH more risky behavior than you relate routinely with no issues ... but a fear of HIV is quite the healthy attitude in this day and age.

The risk is still small, but much higher than if you HADN'T been shagging a hooker. Kind of depends also on the skeeziness level of the hooker. Does she work for a "high class" joint where the girls get tested on a routine basis and the clients are required to wear rubbers? Or is she a 50 cent crack ho' just out skeezin' for her next fix?

Beware of SYPHILIS?
Syphilis is caused by Treponema pallidium, a spiral shaped bacterium called a spirochete. Syphilis is spread from person to person. A person gets syphilis from direct contact with a syphilis sore on the body of an infected person. Sores occur at the site of infection, mainly on the external genitals, vagina, anus, or rectum. Sores can also be on the lips and in the mouth.
In about a third of untreated persons, the results of the internal damage show up years later in the late (tertiary) stage. Symptoms include paralysis, inability to coordinate movements, inability to feel pain, gradual blindness, dementia (madness) or other personality changes, impotence, blockage or ballooning of the heart vessels, tumors damage to knee joints, and deep sores on the feet. The damage may be serious enough to cause death.
