All doctors say that. What about the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the contaminated food we eat. Is one really worse than the other?

smooking must be a lot like smoking.

In which case, if you like it, no amount of reason and research will make you stop.

Find something else you like and do it compulsively...washing your hands should work.

you better stop it. one way that i used was if you use like 100 ciggarates a day then you better reduce slowly eg reduce to 9 and then eventually you will quit. i is a hard task but trust you will do it. on the other hand try out nicotine patches.

Is your life worth less than $4.75? I believe that if people starting asking themselves that question they wouldn't smoke. If you have children, do it for them...they need their parent!!

My mother was a die hard smoker, she smoked for years and years. I though she would never quit. She stop cold turkey. Just set a day on the calendar and do it. Chew gum, paint, draw, knit, croche, any thing that uses you hands. Do dishes clean house all that stuff. It will work if your serious.

nicotine gum can be very useful, every time you want to smoke just have some nicotine gum, later you can change to normal gum to keep yourself occupied. You may also want to start new hobies and activities to keep your mind off smoking.

Think of what you can do to undo what you did when you get a fatal disease after you have finally achieved what you define as a 'success and joy' as a motivation.

nicotine patches, hypnotherapy, herbal cigarettes (as a replacement)...bust most importantly..will power my friend :)
