yes - but wrap it well to avoid freezer burn and it may be preferable to slice before freezing so you can just defrost what you want.

Yes, In San Francisco, there is a confectioner's shoppe that sells frozen chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick. That is my only experience with it. Yum.
