My son in type 1 insulin dependent and the nutritionist we see recommends snacks that are a combo of carb and protein/fat. The protein and fat slows down the absorption of the carbs so that it's a more even rise not a huge spike. Examples are ham and cheese with whole wheat crackers, peanut butter with apples slices or whole wheat crackers, 4 to 8 oz of milk, yogurt with dry cereal, nuts, etc. Also there are free snack which do not significantly raise blood glucose such as raw veggies. Celerey and carrots stick are great. For anyone taking insulin and wants more control over their BG and wants to be able to make insulin adjustements themselves, I highly recomment a book called "Think Like a Pancreas" Check it out at the library and if you like it BUY it. Great advice in the book.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

i imagine that you need to comprehend that it truly is more effective than a snack and there isn't any longer this manner of element as acceptable. A snack can do many stuff to a diabetic and at different circumstances a diabetic ought to choose different snacks. If a diabetic is affected by hypoglycemia using intense drugs and or insulin, they choose a short source of sugar to go back their glucose stages to generic stages. with any luck that's hardly yet you need to be prepared for it. what's stated is 15 grams of sugar which quantities to 4 oz. of fruit juice, 0.5 a can of generic soda or 3 Dextrose pills from the drugstore. Tubes of generic cake icing also works nicely. As those are with any luck a uncommon adventure, products that very last are purely right alongside with mini-cans of generic soda. After the glucose has been corrected, something lengthy lasting alongside with peanut butter must be had. A diabetic can help spread out the glucose by regular small nutrients, in fact snacking all day and positively it truly is what a diabetic does at the same time as they're ill and function lost their urge for nutrients, they wrestle to eat 15 grams of carbohydrate in line with hour at the same time as ill, even if it truly is only a minican of soda. in case you seem on-line for a diabetic ailment plan, you'll locate lists of achievable 15 gram snacks. more often than not they say to keep the snacks to lower than 15 grams of carbohydrates, yet from time to time a diabetic purely likes to sense like they could be able to indulge a touch in which case there are distinct low carb snacks. Many cookies ought to nicely be made with almond flour or almond paste ensuing in low carb cookies which regrettably are intense in energy yet a minimum of there isn't any longer as a lot of an project with glucose. for sure weight help plan sodas are not thoroughly healthful both yet a minimum of there isn't any glucose impact. in reality, a diabetic may have even with non-diabetics have yet they purely ought to take the impact of the carbohydrates into consideration. something that non-diabetics might want to too yet there is little possibility to a non-diabetic for being careless.

fresh fruit is always great. Strawberries are little in carb if you need a little , when I need more carb i eat a banana. I also carry fruit leathers with me (they are 100 % fruit in a package about 12 gram of carb each at health food stores, whole foods or kroger or streach island.com) Crackers and cheese are good the cheese will give you protein to balance out the carb in the crackers. I also buy cereal bars but not the nutragrain type they are junk I buy mine from whole foods, or trader joes if you have I . i pay less for them and they are real fruit and whole grain not high fructose corn syrup and trans fat in a tube. I am a type 1 diabetic oh 2 more of my favorits are cliff bars the one called the Z bar made for kids. Or milk I keep milk (white or chocolate) at work. I keep skim on hand or just a little like 4 oz of chocolate milk.
