maybe, but its not absolute. Just exercise and eat well and you shouldnt worry too much

Yes taking insulin will cause you to gain weight. That is why the docs want us on a diet and exercise program. Just check out some of the diabetic sites on the internet. Some of the diabetics are doing well and others are having a terrible time. Best of luck to you!! I hope you don't gain a single pound!

If you take too much insulin, you will have to combat your hypos with carbohydrates. This can pack on the pounds. Learn to take just enough insulin to process your carbohydrates for energy.

You have to look at food differently. Treat it like fuel to be used for energy, not something to make you happy and store in fat cells. Easier said than done, but this is the reality of diabetes.

you can expect an increase in body weight, but you can counterbalance that with exercise.
Studies have shown that for every percentage in a1c decrease, there's a 2 kg increase in body weight. These are statistics ofcourse.
Like a previous answerer said, hypoglycemias can lead to weight gain, because of the carbs ingested to correct them.

don't think so exercise and be stress free my mother also has diabetes but she has controlled it with morning walk, small amounts of food at regular intervals and she eats Methi. I don't know about methi if it works or not but the rest surely do

your doctor should have told you the answer to that already mate ....what is wrong with you ....the answer is yes but stay fit by working out and jogging

No, unless u start overeating. It will only improve absorption of food in ur body. Please reduce ur food intake if overweight.
