Try picking a theme. Its easy, choose a color that's season friendly or an icon (i.e. snowflakes) and carry it through you cookies, decorations even clothing. I am currently doing iredecence and it is lovley.

No games! That is just silly.
Have each gal bring a half-dozen or dozen cookies for each person attending, wrapped on plates or in bags for each person. Then they take home the same amount they brought, just of other cookies.
Wear something fun and festive for Christmas! A cute sweater, jeans, a Cmas vest over a turtleneck, whatever! Have Cmas music playing, and hot spiced cider on the stove or in the crockpot.
It should be a nice time to ooh and aah over everyone's cookies, nibble a few, sip some cider, and visit and catch a breath during this busy holiday season. Don't make them play games! JMHO

First of all - clothes - just wear a pair of jeans and a red or green sweater - maybe with a Christmas pin. If you really want to look Christmasy - wear a pair of jingle bell earrings.
Provide pretty decorated boxes for everyone to package up their exchanged cookies that they are taking home.
If you want an activity - you could have supplies for everyone to decorate their cookie box. Provide recipe cards for everyone to share their recipes.
You could also have some plain sugar cookies (Undecorated) and set out lots of different things to decorate the cookies, and let everyone create their own masterpiece.
Main thing - provide cider, eggnog and coffee, and perhaps some kind of simple savory dip and chip (to cut the sweet).

OK, this may sound weird for a game, but they did it at my husband's Christmas party. Buy several of those jingle bells on a rope or ribbon that you can pull over your head. Everyone gets one to wear. The rule is that when someone asks you a question during the party, if you answer with "no" or "know" you have to give your jingle bell to them to wear. Anyone can ask anyone a question regardless of them wearing a bell.
It doesn't have to be weird questions just things like "Are you going to eat that?" and if they say no or I don't know, they have to give you their bell.
The person at the end of the party with the most bells around their neck wins a little prize.
It was really hilarious to watch people watch their words and laugh hysterically.

Wear somthing with red, black and a touch of gold, do not wear anything that make you look like SANTA CLAU, I do not know much information about your body type, height etc... it is not easy to say much.

i think of white shorts could seem incredible, extraordinarily in case you tucked the shirt in somewhat. this could sound extraordinary yet this jogs my memory of an outfit Cameron Diaz wears in "What takes place in Vegas" with the white shorts...i think of that's while she's entering into an condominium
