What does having headaches all the time have to do with whether or not you should get tested?? If you are overweight, or are always thirsty urinate a lot, eat or drink a lot of sweets, get jittery sweaty...these are symptoms of possibly being diabetic. You may have 1-2 or all of these symptoms. If even one, you should get tested. My boyfriend almost died, I forced him to go to the hospital, he thought he was just thirsty, or had the flu. Going to the hospital saved his life.

No correlation between diabetes and headaches per se.

Look at other potential root causes for the headaches. Is your room where you sleep well ventilated? Are you drinking plenty of water and getting good exercise outdoors?

If both answers are yes then you should probably see a doctor. If no then fix these issues and see if headaches go away.

Why does she want you to get tested? does it run in your family? generally Diabetes comes on after you've had a virus for a long time. It weakens an already weakened pancreas and I lost 100 lbs in a week and didn't eat hardly anything that week but drank water like MAD. I also peed alot that week. I started shivering really bad from losing weight so fast and was breathing really labored and my breath smelled sweet.

get tested and tell the doctor about your headaches as well.

Try and take note of whatever symptoms you can think of before the appointment.

Doctors are not psychic.

if your sugar is unregulated, this could be why you feel bad, get checked. if you don't have it great, if you do, you can treat it and live a normal life...not everyone who has it needs medication, sometimes it is a matter of 'tweaking your diet' to eat more balanced meals and snacks...not giving up everything, just being careful about when you eat certain things.
