Normally when ppl go out to eat, they get food that is different from what they normally eat at home. Why is it when Mexicans go out to eat, they go and get Mexican food? Makes no darn sense to me.

Unbeknownst to you, when Mexicans eat food at home, they eat sandwiches and potato chips. Therefore, when they go out, they like to eat Mexican food. Lol.

well, ppl don't always make dishes the same. my mother's enchiladas are not as good as mine(lol..i had to throw that in there). like i said, its different everywhere you go, i am from Texas and they have great food out there and over here in Kentucky there Mexican food isn't so good..lets just say i would rather go eat a taco bell than eat at a Mexican restaurant over here. its just not always the same!

because everyone makes Mexican a little different,with different spices etc.
Plus it is so damn addicting and good.
if you have ever tried a Chili Rellano ..,or beef and bean burrito smother in green chili like they serve in Denver you will know why.
Denver has the best Mexican food in the country..better than New Mexico ,and Arizona. Plus they make green chili here like no where else on the planet including the country of Mexico.

Because mexican food is not labeled as "mexican food" in their own country. Do Italians skip Pasta or Pizza? No, because is their traditional food.
If you mean mexicans in other countries, it may have many other reasons. Nostalgic feelings, cravings or simply a wish for good food.

They always seem to be eating Mexican food, I know. They also like Italian and Chinese, and American. You are probably eating Mexican food and notice it.

I've not found that to be true. Where I live, we have a large number of Mexicans, they all seem to go out for Chinese.

Well not always why do people go to McDonald's to eat a hamburger when they could just make one at home. It is the same scenario.

sometimes some mexican dishes take a while to make( ex, caldo de pollo, enchiladas, or camarones a la diabla) and like all of us, mexicans can get impatient. it's like saying,"why do it myself when someone else can do it for me?"

because mexican food tastes so dam delicious all year long. frijoles, arroz , tortillas , carne, salsa, nopalitos thats all you need to be satified all year long. :)
