ok well i have this problem, and i use Advair for asthma-- but it doesn't seem to be helping one thing... it feels like someone put a big weight ontop of my chest and it's like, taking my air. it freaks me out. do you have any ideas? i might be going to the doctor soon, but idk... i just wanna know cause i'm a little, well, freaked out...

I've been on it for a month, It works great, I can not believe how good it works. I have the 250 mcg . I do not need the albuteral
I breath so much better. There is other things that might help if that does not agree.

My grandson has asthma and he describes these symptoms. He uses Advair, an inhaler and clarin for allergies. He still has problems with coughing and his nose is constantly runs.
The inhaler helps when he really has trouble breathing. You need to go to the doctor your medicines may need to be changed. Asthma is nothing to mess around with.

advair is only supposed to be used as a prevenitive med-- usually every 12 hrs, not a rescue med
i think you should call your doctor and see him asap

maybe it's your medication! i take blood pressure pills and they make me cough, and have a hard time breathing.
sometimes you just have to deal with it. be sure and tell your dr.!
