the Walgreens I go to sells a brand name of things called Diabetic Tussin for____. Colds, cough, both, fill in the blank just like all the regular cold remedies. Most giant chain pharmacies will have a diabetic section. Even some of the usual brand name cold remedies are coming out with sugar free varieties.

Any kind is fine. My son age 11 is Type 1 diabetic, and I asked the Doctor that exact question once. Even though it contains a WARNING, the Doctor said there is not a significant amount of sugar in it. So unless you plan to overdose, there's nothing to worry about. The warning is provided because it actually contains sugar. That's all...
