Yes they are. What this means is that a prospective employer is not allowed to ask if you have any health problems which may affect your ability to work. For example you may need to be excused to check you glucose and administer insulin but a prospective employer may not use this to exclude you from working. In addition should you be hired the employer must do everything reasonable to accomodate your need to monitor your glucose, make allowances for diabetic meals or snacks, and administering insulin.

Depending on how severe any damage is, and about 14 pages of legal talk, maybe.
If she is rich, she gets a tax break.
If she is Disabled, then she can apply for help, fat chance she gets it, but after the 3rd appeal, it could happen.
Move her to Iraq and I bet she gets American Aid fast. Ask anyone still living in the Gulf Coast about if the Amercan Goverment takes care of American Citizens.
Then look at how much $ has been sent to Iraq.
Yes she can probablly get help, takes a Lawyer and about a year. But yes, she should be able to. by law.;

My mom's a diabetic so I know she has to have insulin and all that stuff but I don't believe it's covered by ADA.
