I'd love to make a roast and some jerky,a few other things,for christmas. Unfortunately none of us have any time to go hunting. Help? =)

Find your local taxidermists. They will be swamped this time of year with business and will be able to steer you to a local hunter that has good fresh meat.
Another solution might be the "Iwanna" paper. I am not sue if you have one in Fayetteville, but we do up here in Asheville, and they have expanded. Its a local free paper and you can advertise for most anything. If not the Iwanna, then a similar newspaper that has free offerings.

Check with a local health food store. I live in Hickory, NC and we have a health food store that sells venison steaks. This could be sliced to make jerky. Our placed is called The Health Hut.

Many, many, many plates of venison. Oh the plates of venison. :) Roll it in flour, salt and pepper...positioned slightly oil interior the pan, and fry it on both area for 5 - 10 minutes. Mmmm mmmm good. won't be able to sit down down nonetheless and eat it. practice dinner up some fried taters and cornbread to bypass with it. As an further tip: positioned some rib rub in with the steaks.

Find someone that processes wild game and see if they have received any deer that were donated to them. You might get the whole deer for the cost of prosessing.

Seriously, cabrito (kid or young goat meat) tastes just like venison, only more tender. Try it! You will like it.
