Absolutley!
I am an asthmatic and am on medication for GERD (Gastro-Instestinal-Reflux Disease) to help with the symptoms.
Shortness of breath, tightness, back pain etc all come from the burning acid that causes your esophagus to become restricted and tighten.
When I am on the medication it alieviates these symptoms.
Congratulations on giving up smoking! Every single day you are off of them will make your lungs stronger & healthier. You are doing great- Keep it up!
