Play music, rent videos, do games like trivia[they make a Xmas trivia game, I have it}, do each others hair, makeup, or nails. Gossip.
Get a music video, and learn the latest dance.Turn on your cable or Dish TV, and watch a soppy Christmas movie.
Do a craft, like making an ornament, or a stocking.Martha Stewart.com might have something easy.
Bake cookies, or make candy that you do not have to cook. Go to allrecipes.com, they have lots. Magic cookie bars, haystacks, buckeye candy. Or melt some white chocolate, and dip pretzels in it. Or go buy a mix at the store, I bought a turtle cookie bar mix made by Eagle brand condensed milk, it was OK.

scavenger hunts are a lot of fun, just make sure you go in pairs, not too safe out there anymore.
