This made me chuckle...so thumbs up to you.
And NO THEY SHOULDN'T, it would be hypocritical to say that it's inhumane to eat animals, then eat the image of an animal. That's like getting the Holy Eucharist from Catholic church when your Baptist!

I don't see why you cannot eat animal crackers.
I think that you might be confused what vegetarian means.
Vegetarians do not consume meat. Actually, there are many different kinds of vegetarians. Some may consume fish, but no red meat. Some may consume eggs, but no chicken. Also, some may consume dairy, but no meat.
Or some vegetarians may omit all form of animal, which may be considered a vegan.
I am quite positive that animal crackers are not made of meat. So to answer your question, yes vegetarians are allowed to eat animal crackers.
Enjoy your animal crackers without guilt.

I think the question needs to be rephrased but Vegetarians should not be compelled to avoid eating animal crackers. The animal shapes are just to amuse children and by no means suggest that vegetarians who eat them are eating animals.

I'm so sick and tired of seeing this stupid question. Just because they're called animal crackers doesn't mean they're made of animals. They're called animal crackers because they're cookies SHAPED like animals. There's a game out they're called Animal Crossing. I suppose vegetarians wouldn't be able to play it because it has animals in it, huh?

I don't because I think that they should roam free on the grocery isle shelf, where they can live their life free from the fear of being eaten. Animal crackers should be bought, set free in the woods, and left to fend for themselves. Thanx for caring.

LOL, I've seen this question before. If a vegetarian is going by name alone, then no, they shouldn't eat them;) If they are going by what is inside the cookie itself, they should be able to eat them:)

Sure why not? Unless there's lard or tallow in the crackers.

This has to be about the dumbest question I have heard ever. Do they have meat in them? NO. Do they have chicken in them? NO. Do they have fish in them? NO. Please get a life grow up and try doing something that will enrich your brain cells.
