I'd recommend a set of watercolor paints and a pad of watercolor paint paper. They are not expensive, and you will be able to frame and enjoy her earliest artistic creations for many years from now. Long after any toy has been forgotten, you and your family will be able to see what she created on her birthday each and every day! At her Birthday Party, you can get a few extra brushes and have each party guest create a special painting for the birthday celebration. We do this for every Birthday Party celebrated at our home. People of all ages really enjoy painting together during celebrations. We hope her Birthday is Special and remembered for years to come. Happy Birthday!!!! <):)

Bowling, video arcade, pizza party or anything else that involves action and interaction with his friends. An 11 year old is defining their place with friends in their late pre-teens. Best wishes and good luck
P.S. Wish the birthday child a good one!

Oh my they grow up quick don't they, my son turned 10 in October, close to your child's age and he wanted to have a laser tag party. The boys loved it! They had pizza and cake and had a blast playing laser tag. Good luck and enjoy what ever you decide. Merry CHRISTmas to you and yours. And Happy Birthday to your baby.

put out arts and crafts for the kids...they will love it
also put out things like chips and candy but probably in bags... you dont want them to overeat
if you ARE going to serve a dish...make it pizza or kid friendly..no kid wants to eat eggplant parmesean on their birthday
for dessert..simple ice cream cake

Take that person to somewhere he/she really like ^_^
People of that age might like roller coasters so i think that's one of the places you could go.
