I have never been to one of the parties but I do think that they are overpriced. The only good thing about tupperware is their lifetime warranty I had a set of cannisters I got from my grandmother and I had one in the freezer well it droppred and cracked they replaced the entire set for me no hassle the set was from the 70s so I thought that was cool

I'm sorry, but I love Tupperware. There's just something about it. It could be because my mother always used it, so now I feel the need to use it. But it is so resourceful, and helps so much with organizing and some of it has gotten pretty cute. I have never been to a tupperware party, however.

I grew up with Tupperware and my mom was a Tupperware lady back in the 70's!
Personally, I can't imagine not having real Tupperware! It is expensive, but worth it for how long it lasts and how well it stands up to years of storage, heating, cleaning...etc.
And if you think about how many more of the disposable plastic products you buy over the years....it probably costs way more than one set of Tupperware.
BTW...you can buy it online now, so you don't have to go to a party if you don't want to.

I agree that it is overpriced. Now that we have all the Gladware, they are just as good and a whole lot less expensive. It used to be that Tupperware was the ONLY product of it's kind -- I still have pieces that I will never part with, love them!

NO, I hate any party that people invite you to just to spend money. When I need plastic containers I'll go get them.
