My mother said she is having tests taken and was started on a new Medication(which she didn't tell me the name)and that her family Dr(which is 1/2 a quack anyway)told her, her heart had shifted because she had untreated Pnuenomia for a couple of weeks a few months back(which we knew nothing about).
Is anyone familiar with this Diagnosis or is she just an Old lady that has her facts wrong?

I have never heard of a heart shifting related to pneumonia. It can enlarge or it may have a deviated axis (turned). The deviated axis would be unrelated to the pneumonia though.
