Well this year its going to be 2 meals, becuase our tradition is we normally have bbq ribs & all the fixxens that go with it.

So, Im making bbq beef country ribs, corn on the cob, bbq baked beans, homemade coleslaw, homemade mac & cheese.

And: Pineapple glazed spiraled cut ham, real sweet potatoes candied, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, stove top stuffing, cranberry sauce, minced meat pie (for my inlaws, this is a HORRIBLE pie), homemade apple dutch pie, homemade dinner rolls, homemade orange bread, deviled eggs, 4 diffrent kinds of homemade cookies, & homemade brownies, & a Christmas tree shapped cake too.

I'm not sure how this will help... i'm romanian, so we have our own eastern european traditions. Especially food-wise. First of all, every member of our family comes to my house on Christmas Eve, for our traditional dinner. There are lots of dishes, mostly pork (some are really yucky, but some are tasty)... the best ones are the cabbage rolls filled with minced meat, and the polenta, and the desert - "cozonac" (i really have no idea how to translate that). We usually eat at 8 pm (not too healthy, but Christmas is only once a year!) and the party goes into the night... We open the presents, we talk, and we try to have fun.

we don't like turkey, so i'm roasting a duck and a leg of lamb! i am going to roast both at the same time, which include potato's, onions, and parsnips! i am going to boil carrots, brussel sprouts, and probably peas! once the meats are performed, i am going to positioned them onto serving plates, and make a gravy with the juices that are left in the back of interior the roasting pan. of route i am going to drain the fat from the duck. And which will be our yuletide lunch!! Christmas pud has been offered, so i am going to easily warmth it up interior the micro when we are waiting, and serve it with a brandy cream sauce!

We either have a hot meal - turkey, pork, gravy, potatoes, pumpkin, beans and sweet potato. Or we have a cold lunch - ham, salads, seafood. And lots of nice desserts - pavlova, trifle, plum pudding with custard. We usually eat between 12 and 1 pm.
