okay, well when i was in Europe last april and it was really bad. i was over there with my school and i just thought that it was the air, pollution in the cities, whatever. Anyways, this cough was extremeley annoying, it did not scratch or hurt my throat at all. ( by the way i do not smoke) i would just breathe and i would burst out in to this HUGE coughing spree. And the strangest thing about it was that i could only sleep if i would make a weird HRmMmmMM noise because the vibration calmed my throat. Oh i would cough all day, ten minutes straight intervals i annoyed my roomates despretley thank god they were understanding. This cough lastest for about a week, and i was heathly when i left.

And now my question..... i have it again. im in univeristy and it is december ...obviously. I can feel it coming back when i breathe and then when i swallow it causes me to cough. i was in mid exam and i just TOUCHED my throat and i had to leave the room. Its as if i have bird flu or some crazy virus, it is really annoying. haha it was kinda scary when i was in europe when i think about it cause i would be sitting on the subway and coughing away like i was carrying a foreign disease.
another fact is that im just recovering from strep throat that i had in november.
IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME what it is it would be greatttttt i want to know what this annyoing thing is!! thank you

You might check to be tested for allergies, bronchitis or asthma.

Once I had bronchitis for 8 mohts straight. I would cough evey time I woukd go to slepp all night. antibiotics did not help. Finally when I ahd an embergency appendectomy, I was diagnosed with a mild case of asthma/

I take a Flovent inhaler twice a day & it does seem to help.

Anyway, pleas call our internist, or make an appointment to see a pulmonogist. Hopefully this coughing spell was a 1 time thing. Good luck!
