When he still had his foreskin,a year ago, his penis would point almost straight upward when hard, almost touching his belly when standing.. Now after the foreskin has been trimmed off,(circumcised) it only points like straight out when hard. I mean it still gets hard and all it just doesn't stand up as high like it used to.
Also it looks like it is stretched tight and I can see the brown scar line around it where the foreskin was attached about mid way on the shaft. He says it doesn't bother him and I have to admit I do like it better.
Is the circumcision the cause of this or some other reason why penis just points out instead of up. It didn't used to be this way.

You would really be better off asking this question of your doctor. If the circumcision did cause this, there may be some way to return function to 'normal'.

This is a common complication of circumcision. Complications occur in about 15% of circumcisions, removal of too much skin, or in your case, uneven removal is the most common.

Many complications of circumcision at birth do not become evident until years later when sexual activity begins.

Now that is is done there is little that can be done about it, he is fortunate that in his case the disfigurement is not creating any discomfort and so far is not causing great dysfunction.

The surgeon slipped and cut the muscle or blood vessels?

You relationship is facing serious problems (lack of sexual attraction)?

He fractured his penis.?

He phobic of sex after that operation?

He is worried about the time you are spending on the internet and not consulting with a urologist/surgeon?

Either way, get medical advice if it concerns you

This is caused by the circumcision and is quite common. There is just not enough skin left to allow his penis to stick up as high as it used to. Its tight right? and can only stretch up so far.
As long as he isnt having any problems with it, I'd say enjoy it.
Tighter circumcisions are better for women during sex and provide more and better stimulation. They also look better.
Women who have not experienced this don't know what the're missing. Tight is Right.

the circumcision caused this. He had more skin on his penis so it was able to stretch out farther. Now that its gone it can only stretch as far as this limited amount of skin will let him
