Seriously, though:

Haggis is just the colloquial name given to the COUPET; a Scottish animal related to the South American COYPU (AKA the Orinoco pig).

As we all know, some haggis run clockwise round mountain and hill tops and some run anti-clockwise. To that end, there are two varieties of haggis. The ones with legs slightly shorter on the right to make running round clockwise easier are properly called COUPETBYE and the counter-clockwise variety are called COUPETTAE. At the very early stages of their development, the young right inclined variety are called Pinkies and the left inclined variety are called Perkies. After a few weeks however, when they grow fur, their eyes open and they become active, they enter an adolescent stage and are colloquially distinguished as kittens and pups for the right and left types respectively.

Not faggots, they have shorter left legs for running round the hills, haggis have shorter right legs. It creates havoc in the highlands because they keep bumping into each other and the yells off them keep the Scots up all night.

Haggis is made of sheep, faggots of pork.

They mythical haggis beast lays eggs that hatch into haggis trees that drop fully grown haggis adults as fruits.

Nobody has ever caught one and asked.

I've heard that haggi are not born, they just appear as a function of quantum mechanics.
