I've been sick for a week and am due to have a c-section next friday, but this thing doesn't seem to be getting better, i can't sleep and I've even pulled muscles in my stomach from coughing. I'm on medication for it but it doesnt seem to be working quite yet. Any suggestions what I can take to get some sleep???

If you have access to a Chinese Medicine Doctor, Acupuncturist, or Chinese "Apothecary", try some "705 Patches". They are inexpensive and will open your chest up, making coughing less painful and more productive. It will also help to clear your chest, allowing the medicine to work.

The 705 Patch is sold in a small tin and comes on a roll. Cut two patches, one for each lung and place them on your back, roughly over your lungs. Your will smell a strong "tiger balm" smell and feel a warmth coming from the patches as they start to work.

Once they have passed all the natural medicine into your system, they will loose their adhesiveness and fall off. Do not shower with the patches on or it will negate their purpose and wash away the medicine.

You will feel better in 24 hours and by 48, you'll be wondering if you really had anything wrong. By Day 3, you'll be buying stock in the manufacturer.

Good luck and feel better.

If you are pregnant, you risk the health of your baby by taking anything. Suggest that 1/2 ounce of brandy at bedtime will minimize risk to the baby, and will quiet your cough enough to sleep.
