how can i stop my kerosen heater from smokeing.this is what i warm by .it has just started to smoke the last few nights.

ha that is easy i also have a kerosene heater. Take it apart bang off that metal thing that hold the wick, it is dirty. but it back together carefully then light make sure it is all aligned or it will still smoke. Also it will do you good if once and a while you let the heater completely burn out when it runs out of fuel this helps to clean out thewick. Do it outside if you can because it is stinky. If not put it in another room and close the door.

is the kerosene clean?
is the nozzle blocked?
is the wick too long?
be sure to use it in a well ventilated room,

Dude you have a ticking bomb there.Contact your local salvation army and explain your situation to them.If they can't help you they can direct you to some one who can.
