go to a specialist for diabetes they have more training knowledge. get an A1C test done to see where your levels have been the past three months. in the meantime go to a store get a blood glucose monitor and check your sugar 2hours after your meal. normal range is 80-120. see where it is at. as far as the urinating goes that could mean it is to high. i had the same symtoms at first. and when you are thirsty alot that to could mean that it is high. drink alot of water. good luck and please go see a doctor fast.

I advise you get a glucose monitor from your local store and start keeping a log of glucose levels. Take a reading first thing in the morning when you get up (fasting) as well as right before you eat a meal and two hours after you eat. This log should continue for a couple of weeks. Normal fasting totals should read between 90-110 as well as normal before eating totals too. The two hour after eating totals should not be over 150-175. If you fluctuate greatly I would schedule a follow up with your doctor right away. It is very important, I pray you find the answers you need. Prayers =)

See another doctor, preferably one of Internal medicine. I think you have been misdiagnosed. Many are symptoms I had. Also take note of how your body responds to bread and carbs. I've also learned to drink lots of water to flush and dilute it in your system. It's hard to go cold turkey on the sugar but try to have less of it when you do.

Have a decent doctor do a HA1c test.Tests for diabetes cannot be inconclusive.
Someone is pulling your leg or they have no idea what they are doing.
Good luck.

You're sleepy after you eat sweets because you get a burst of energy and then you're pooped!
