Good day. Can a STD Pass especially HIV if a man and a woman just rub their genetalia together but no intercourse? A Condom was not used. What about if the man gives oral sex to the woman for a short period of time say 3-5 minutes? A Friend of mine is worried and i really dunno how to explain. Help? Thanks.

If ANY bodily fluid passed from one person to another, it's possible to pass a disease that may live in that fluid.

Yes, just rubbing genitalia together, without penis insertion, can spread a disease if any of her vaginal fluid gets on his penis, or any of his pre-c*m or semen gets into her vagina. Not to mention, she could become pregnant if not on birth control.

Yes, oral sex can spread disease as you have saliva on the sex organ of another person, which has openings to the interior of the body. Either person having a particular disease, might be able to pass it if it was a disease that could be passed via those fluids. Not all STDs are in every body fluid.

Please recommend to your friend that s/he not have ANY intimate contact with others until s/he learns how STDs can be transmitted. Until then, s/he's just a train wreck waiting to happen.

any time a bodily fluid comes in contact with an open mucous membrane on the partner's body- there is risk. It is safer to say there is always risk and nobody is safe because we don't know when we have a slight cut or exposed membrane. For example- if you are rubbing genitalia, most likely the female will pass fluid and the male may have some pre-ejaculate that may pass to her, or vice versa. If clothes were involved, that is safer. During oral sex, HIV and STDs can be transferred if an exposed cut is infiltrated with bodily fluids. You can pass herpes orally as well. USE PROTECTION!!!!

Anytime two people exchange "body fluids", there is potential to contract any disease each other may be carrying. Therefore, oral sex is one method of exchanging fluids.

Touching genitals has the potential IF for example, there is an open wound or membrane on the penis. If the tip of the penis (hole) touched the inner vaginal area, there is potential of contracting a disease.

Your friend should be worried, messing with a virus that stays active for 48 hours in wet blood (outside of the carrier) & 24 hours in dry blood. Gee...WORRY!
